2009 Wedding Season

This year has been an extemely exciting time for the Diamond Rose Event Staff. We've had an amazing time serving our clients and creating "fabulous" designs that will be a part of a special memory for years to come. We've spent long hours and had some really fun times together as we diligently prepared every detail for display. I can't wait to see what's in store for us in 2010.

A Tropical Affair

Rahsaan and Katreece celebrated their destination wedding with family and friends before leaving for the beautiful Virgin Islands. The stage was set for them as they stepped into a tropical paradise right at home in Michigan; and what a fabulous affair it was!

Place cards set in a sea shells and sand backdrop

A beautiful arbor with lush tropical greenery at the entrance of the ballroom, made a great backdrop for the sand castle cake created by Renae of Cake Crumbs in Southfield, Mi.

The Tables were covered with beautiful patterned pool blue satin overlays with matching chair covers and sashes from Lyndseys Linen.  We added a silver raphia embellishment to each sash to honor the brides request for an element of silver in the decor.

The centerpieces were designed with very vibrant Orange Asiatic Lillies, Yellow Callas, Pool blue Orchids and a variety of tropical greens which included Monstera leaves.

A message in a bottle with a personal quote taken from the couples invitations, swept up on the beach scene centerpiece created complete with Blue water, Sand, Orchids, Pincushion Protea, and yes a Palm Tree.  This was great fun creating!

Extra touches in the bar area of the room were added here and there to make complete the look.

Laura and Clarence- Elegance in Red & Champagne

It was "soooo" nice designing the bridal party flowers for this August wedding. Laura chose very different designs for herself and the members of her wedding party and they were a lot of fun to create. The finished product was "Fabulous".

The Brides Bouquet was made of beautiful Red Callas that were held in a holder wrapped in satin and embellished with crystals. It was "Hot", and absolutely breathtaking as she carried it down the aisle to meet her groom.

Gorgeous purse bouquets were a very elegant and unique out of the box accessory to compliment the Candy Apple Red dresses worn by the bridesmaids.

Coordinating flower girl basket and wrist corsage for "mom".

"A Tiffany Affair"

Erika and anthony wanted their wedding to have the style and elegance of her favorite Tiffany & Co. We used pink as an accent color and started by creating an aisle and altar that was perfect for a grand entrance. June 19th was a perfect day and it was all about "Davis & Co" from beginning to end.
